アメリカ・フィラデルフィアの女性ヴォーカル・パンク・バンド、Sheer Mag (シアー・マグ) が新曲「Eat It and Beat It」のリリックビデオを公開しました。この曲は、2024年3月1日にThird Man Recordsからリリースされるニュー・アルバム『Playing Favorites』からの先行シングルだ。アルバム・リリースは2019年の『A Distant Call』以来。
ハードなロックンロールの歪みと現代的なインディロック/オルタナの感覚もかすかに感じさせてくれるSheer Magらしい楽曲は聴きごたえばっちりだ。
バンドは3月から北米ツアーを行い、今回の新曲発表に併せて8月にヨーロッパ/イギリスでツアーを開催することを発表している。
