2007年、アメリカ合衆国アリゾナ州テンピで結成され、エモ/ポップロック・シーンのトップで活動してきたThe Maineが、新曲「Touch」をリリースしました。 この曲は、リード・ヴォーカルのJohn O’Callaghanが、絵に描いたような青空と曇り空の下、緑の野原で踊る姿を収めたミュージック・ビデオと共に公開されている。「君の口癖が好きなんだ／君は口を閉じたまま僕を欲しがる／煙探知機を忘れて／窓を全開にすればいい」といった甘い歌詞でファンを魅了している。。
The Maineはキャリアを積み重ねるごとに成熟し、本物の自分を掘り下げながら、自己改革を続けている。 バンドがスタートして17年経った今、現在もエモロックのトップで活動し続けていられる理由はここにあるだろう。
After blasting their new single via their trusty fan-signed tour van in front of Zia Records, The Maine has officially dropped “Touch” for all to enjoy. The track is accompanied with a music video featuring lead vocalist John O’Callaghan in all-white dancing through a green field under picture-perfect blue, cloudy skies.
“Touch” shows off the band’s romantic, sexy side with the lyrics: “I like the way you say/You want me with your mouth closed/Forget the smoke alarm/Just open all the windows.”
