アメリカのエモロックバンド “The All-American Rejects” は、新曲「King Kong」を公開した。本楽曲はリリックビデオとともに発表された最新シングルだ。「King Kong」は、2026年5月15日にリリース予定のスタジオアルバム『Sandbox』に収録される楽曲であり、同作からの先行シングルとして公開された。
フロントマンのTyson Ritterは本楽曲について、ロサンゼルスでの生活を経て故郷へ戻った経験をもとに制作されたと説明している。都市での生活環境や人間関係の中で得た体験が、楽曲の背景として反映されているという。『Sandbox』はバンドにとって通算5作目のスタジオアルバムであり、長期間にわたり制作が進められてきた新作となる。
