ロンドンを拠点に活動するパンク／インディロック・バンド “Shooting Daggers” が、ニューシングル「My Oh My」をリリースし、あわせてミュージックビデオを公開した。楽曲は最新EP『The Real Life Thing』に収録されている。
バンドは同曲について、絶え間なく流れ続けるネガティブなニュースや社会不安の中でも、「希望を失わずに生き続けること」をテーマにした作品だと説明している。ミュージックビデオはメンバーのBea Simion、Raquel J Alves、Salomé Salgado自身が監督とコンセプト制作を担当。日常の小さな瞬間やコミュニティのつながりを描いた映像作品として公開されている。
“Shooting Daggers” は2019年にロンドンで結成されたバンドで、Salomé Salgado、Bea Simion、Raquel J Alvesによって活動している。ライオット・ガール、ハードコアパンク、ポストハードコア、シューゲイザーなどを横断するスタイルで知られており、フェミニズム、クィア・アイデンティティ、反差別などをテーマにした楽曲制作を続けている。2022年にはEP『Athames』をNew Heavy Soundsよりリリースし、その後もヨーロッパを中心にライブ活動を継続。Amyl and the Sniffersのツアーサポートを務めたほか、2026年発表のEP『The Real Life Thing』では、RefusedのDennis LyxzénやThe Menstrual Crampsのメンバーもゲスト参加している。
