Oasisが、名作アルバム 『(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? 』の30周年記念デラックス版に向けて、「Morning Glory (Unplugged)」をシングル公開した。この特別版にはさらに、「Cast No Shadow」「Wonderwall」「Champagne Supernova」「Acquiesce」のアコースティック版も収録される予定である。
これらのアンプラグド・ヴァージョンは、ロンドンの Noel のスタジオ Lone Star Sound において、Noel Gallagher と Callum Marinho によって元マスターテープを基にプロデュース／ミックスされた。
また、『(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? 』は1995年リリース以来、世界で2,200万枚以上を売り上げ、英国スタジオアルバムとして歴代第3位の売上を誇るアルバムとなっている。今回のアンプラグド曲の解禁は、Oasis のライブ ’25 ツアー北米公演が高い注目を集める中で行われており、バンドは今後の来日公演を含むワールドツアーを控えている。

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ era-defining album, ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’, Big Brother Recordings will release new deluxe formats on October 3rd, including unplugged versions of five classic recordings ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘Morning Glory’, ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Acquiesce’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.
